ANDY LEESE has brought Josh Cooper back to Chesham United as they push for their Evo-Stik Premier play-off push. The Generals boss has added Cooper to the ranks for the final few weeks of the season and is hoping the midfielder will be available for the Easter weekend fixtures. Leese said: “It was the deadline for signing new players so I brought him back into the squad. Hopefully he will be available this week. We’ve signed a couple of the youth and reserve team players on as well just to make sure we’re covered because if we can get in the play-offs then we might have to rest one or two. It gives us options in wide areas and in behind the forwards so he is a good addition. “Josh has been at the club before, he’s known to me, known to the fans and he knows how we work. He can play, he’s probably not match-fit but he’ll be okay. I’ve got him in as a bit of cover, we’ve got a good squad.” Striker Leon Archer has also given Leese a boost ahead of the run-in after returning to full training last week.Read
