Youngsters from the Arsenal Soccer Schools Development Centre in Chesham and Iver
Youngsters from the Arsenal Soccer Schools Development Centre in Chesham and Iver saw their dreams come true when they took part in a tournament at The Emirates Stadium - home of the north London club.
Their team qualified through their groups and beat representatives from Sussex and Kuwait on their way to a quarter-final showdown with a team from Greece, where they were finally overcome.
The event was part of Arsenal Soccer Schools World Cup, where teams from across the globe represented their local soccer schools to try and lift the annual trophy.
The team from Iver and Chesham was made up of Year 6 children chosen from the new Development Centre.
They included Armani Riley (of Wooburn Green), Kyran Worrell (of Beaconsfield), Harry Chapman (of Denham Green) and Nathan East (of Chalfont St Giles).
The boys still play for their local teams but will train weekly at the Development Centre and will also represent their age group at fixtures throughout the year.
If you are a talented footballer, you can still try out to join these four and other local football players by going to an Arsenal Soccer School at half-term.
The local course is run at Chiltern Hills Academy in Chesham on Wednesday, June 6 to Friday, June 8.
