IT WAS high fives all round for Chalfont Saints and Pond Park Rangers in this week’s Chesham Sunday League fixtures.
Saints seem to be enjoying their time in the top flight, as Sunday’s visit to Beaconsfield Revolution proved as they came away convincing 5-0 winners.
Goals from Louis Quane (2), Jack Roberts, Charlie Quane and Dave Sheppard, coupled with a clean sheet, earned Saints maximum points and a goal difference boost towards their title challenge.
Pioneer also had a successful road trip to keep their hopes of a ninth premier crown very much alive.
Hosts Magpies 91 themselves have high aspirations, but despite netting via Toby Francis, they were edged out by Andy Viney and Liam O’Neill’s spot-kick.
