Former Oxford man a doubt for Wycombe derby

WYCOMBE'S Dean Morgan is a doubt for the trip of his former Oxford United side to Adams Park on Saturday.

The striker, who had a spell on loan at the Kazzam Stadium earlier this year before joining the Blues this summer, is one of three front-men struggling for the game, along with Matt McClure and Bruno Andrade.

But Blues boss Gareth Ainsworth at least has Jo Kuffour, who served a one-match ban for being sent off during Saturday's 4-1 defeat at Port Vale in Tuesday night's 0-0 draw with Barnet, available once more.

Ainsworth said after the Barnet game: “We'll have to take a look at Dean, Matt and Bruno before Saturday, and the whole depth of the squad will have to be used.

“Dean was struggling from the start. I don't know if he was tired or carrying a knock as he didn't say anything, but he wasn't himself tonight. It wasn't the Dean Morgan we have seen for the last four weeks.”
