GERRARDS Cross Cricket Club's U15s convincingly won the Bucks Cricket Board U15s Twenty20 final against Cookham Dean to complete a superb double.
Having already clinched the Bucks South Division One title with a 100 per cent record, they were full of confidence going into the showdown with Cookham and posted an impressive 191-2 in their 20 overs.
Openers Mohammed Avas and Ollie Penton both retired on 50, scoring at about a run a ball, and Scott Gates blasted a 20-ball 53 to complete the innings.
Only one of the Cookham Dean batters got into double figures in their reply of 90 all out.
Felix Dibsdall, Joe Bracey and Gates all picked up two wickets each, with Dibsdall almost completing another hat-trick, a feat he did achieve when playing Cookham Dean in the league earlier in the season.
This very successful group of boys have won the Bucks Cricket Board final every year for the past four years .
The Gerrards Cross U15s team also included Jordan Huggett, Paddy Keogh, Josh Kirby, Ben Lane, James Liveing, Will Martin, Ben Seimon.
Gerrards Cross U10s, U13s and U14s all lost in their play-off semi-finals.
