FA Cup exit shock for Generals

CHESHAM United crashed out of the FA Cup to lower league opposition yet again on Saturday.

Evo-Stik Division One Central side Northwood caused the upset at The Meadow with an 80th minute Romaine Walker penalty sent the Generals out at the first qualifying round stage.

Chalfont St Peter avoided a cup upset of their own with a 3-2 home win over Newport Pagnell Town to book their second qualifying round spot.

Elsewhere, Amersham Town lost 3-0 at Risborough Rangers in the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup first round while Holmer Green went down 4-1 at Oxhey Jets in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division.
