Generals, Saints and Rams learn cup fate

CHESHAM United will face either Aylesbury United, Enfield 1893 or Northwood in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup.

The draw for the world's most famous competition, sponsored by Budweiser, was made at Wembley this morning.

The trio will battle it out through the extra-preliminary rounds before visiting the Generals on Saturday, September 8.

Elsewhere, Beaconsfield SYCOB will visit Hungerford Town in the preliminary round on August 25, for a home tie with Banbury in the first-qualifying round, while Chalfont St Peter will travel to either Wokingham & Embrook or Camberely Town.

Holmer Green will play Harley Wintney in the extra-preliminary round on August 11 and if they get through they will play either Old Woodstock Town or Wantage Town two weeks later.

Amersham Town and Chalfont Wasps have not entered this year's competition.

In the FA Trophy, Beaconsfield SYCOB will host Poole Town in the preliminary round on September 15 to win the right to play Bashley at Holloways Park two weeks later.

Chesham United will travel to Bishops Cleeve in the first-qualifying round on September 29 while they will begin their FA Youth Cup campaign at home to Windsor in the week commencing September 3.
