Chalfont Wasps suffer cup final heartache

CHALFONT Wasps conceded an extra-time goal to lose the Wycombe Senior Cup final.

The Stingers took on neighbours Burnham in the final at Wycombe Wanderers' Adams Park ground on Thursday night.

The Blues took the lead on 33 minutes through Gavin James but plucky Chalfont hit back five minutes later when Dan Duncan headed in a free-kick.

That is how it stayed until the 100th minute when Ryan Bird sealed the cup win for Burnham.
