Frost wipes out non-league games

SUB-ZERO temperatures forced the postponement of a host of non-league games at the weekend.

Beaconsfield SYCOB's trip to Marlow in the Evo-Stik Division One Central was called off with a frozen pitch along with Holmer Green's home game with Hatfield Town in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division.

Chesham United Reserves' game with Langford in Spartan South Midlands Division One also fell foul of the weather after a pitch inspection at The Meadow found the pitch unplayable.
