Chesham Utd 3–0 Halesowen Town
CHESHAM United blasted three goals past turmoil-club Halesowen to lift themselves back into fourth in the table but boss Andy Leese was far from happy.
The Generals dispatched of bottom-side Town without needing to get out of second gear.
But they wasted a number of clear chances to make the night more comfortable with goals from Chris Bangura, Rob Bartley and Steve Wales completing the rout.
But Leese said: "It is probably the worst we have played for a while. I don't think we started with any real urgency and we seemed a bit lethargic.
"I need to have a look and see who is tired. I can't be too harsh on us because we have a clean sheet and three goals but it should have been plenty more.
"It was job done but I wasn't happy with the performance. Our passing was poor and the availability of players to get onto the ball wasn't there.
"We seemed happy to kick it and take the lazy option and we are better here on this surface when we move the ball quickly.
"The standards we have set we want to see a bit more quality every game."
United took the lead on 14 minutes when Bangura tapped in a Danny Talbot free-kick at the far pose before Leon Archer saw a shot saved and then fired another effort over the bar.
The second goal game seven minutes before the break when Bartley diverted a Steve Obeng effort into the goal with the Halesowen players screaming for offside.
Halesowen saw a Justin Nibbett shot saved by Shane Gore and centre-back Mark Smith volley over as they gained heart from Chesham's wastefullness in front of goal.
The guilty culprits were Wales and Darrell Cox, back at the Meadow for the first time since rejoining the club, who both missed one-on-ones.
But Wales made amends by converting a chance on 89 minutes to complete the win.
