Greens and Magpies games in major doubt
HOLMER Green will be hoping this week does not start the same bad weather luck they experienced last season.
The Greens did not play a game between December 12 and February 6 last season with the snow and ice ripping the non-league schedule apart.
The cold snap has arrived earlier this year and forced Holmer's trip to Harefield to be postponed on Saturday.
Greens boss Holmer Green has steered his side away from relegation trouble in Spartan South Mids Premier Division and they are unbeaten in three league games and are set to host Colney Heath this weekend.
AMERSHAM Town will try again to progress in the third round of the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup third round.
The Magpies saw their game at Eton Wick postponed on Saturday but the Berks & Bucks FA have hastily re-arranged the game for this weekend to avoid a fixture backlog.
Chris Miller's side travel to Berkshire hoping to build on last weekend's draw with Crawley Green that ended a six straight defeats.
But both Chalfont Wasps and Penn & Tylers Green have already seen their cup games postponed.
