Burnell leaves Stones ahead of Chesham return

DANNY Burnell has left Wealdstone just days before a return to The Meadow after a lack of first team games.

The striker was all set for a return to Chesham, the club he left this summer after scoring 90 goals, in the FA Cup second qualifying round on Saturday.

But he has found first-team opportunities hard to come by at Grovesnor Vale and has decided to sign for Southern League Division One Central promotion hopefuls Slough Town.
