GOALS from Ben Strevens, Jon-Paul Pittman and Kieran Murtagh earned Wycombe Wanderers this pre-season derby win.
But it was Andy Leese's Generals which started the brighter with last season's top goalscorer Steve Wales rounding Blues goalkeeper Steve Arnold in the first minute but with Leon Johnson sliding in well to block his shot.
Wycombe took time to click into gear with Waddock fielding five new summer signings in Danny Foster, Dave Winfield, Scott Rendell, Ben Strevens and Murtagh and a number of trialists.
They took the lead on 39 minutes when Phillips headed in a Stuart Green corner before Jerome Federico dashed to the byline and saw his cross chested in by Pittman to make it 0-2 on 42 minutes.
The icing on the cake came with five minutes to go when Murtagh pounced on a slack throw by United goalkeeper Bobby Smith and superbly lob the stranded stopper to complete the 0-3 victory.
