HOLMER Green won their match in hand and the 2012 Bucks Squash championship in some style, recording a maximum 19-4 win against Gerrards Cross to finish seven points above runners-up Wycombe.
Overall, the championship was a much closer contest this time round, with Holmer Green's winning points total of 310 turning out to be 27 short of their tally last year, when they finished second. Bottom team Chesham Bois II had 20 points more than last season's table-proppers.
In Division Two, Wycombe II clinched the championship without skipper Duncan Swallow and with one match still to play, by scraping a win over an improving Chesham Bois Juniors.
