GERRARDS Cross survived relegation on the final day of the season with a win at Reading which sent their opponents down.
The Cross were staring relegation from the Home Counties Division Two West in the face for most of the season but pulled off a three wicket win in Berskhire to survive.
Elsewhere, Farnham Royal beat Harefield to finish third.
In Morrants Thames Valley League Division 2b, Chesham missed out on the title on the final day despite a win at Falkland. The crown went to Wokingham who picked up 25 points in their home win against Kidmore End to finish four points ahead.
Amersham ended the season with victory at Basingstoke & North Hant in Division One, while Chalfont St Peter lost at North Maidenhead as their relegation from Division 2a was confirmed.
