GERRARDS Cross handed themselves a survival lifeline with a thumping home win over Thame Town.
The Cross skittled their opponents for just 78 runs before chasing down the target in just 16 overs and are second bottom in the Home Counties Division Two West.
Elsewhere, Farnham Royal continued their impressive form with a narrow victory over Slough. Chasing down 202 runs for victory, Farnham nearly blew it with the loss of nine wickets but made it over the line.
In Morrants Thames Valley League there were wins for Beaconsfield, Chesham and Chenies & Latymer, while Amersham, Chalfont St Peter, Farnham Common all slumped to defeats.
