Cricket round-up: Chesham stay on top

CHESHAM edged out Boyne Hill on Saturday to maintain top spot.

They remain top of the Morrant Thames Valley League Division 2b with a low-scoring win over Boyne Hill.

In Division One, Amersham skittled Kew for 142 before chasing down the total with the loss of just two wickets while Beaconsfield were bowled out by Finchampstead to lose by 142 runs.

A blistering 135 run knock by Blair Lindsay saw Eversley beat Chalfont St Peter in Division 2a while

In Home Counties Division Two West, Gerrards Cross lost their crunch game with Dinton by four wickets after their host chased down their 213 total.

Farnham Royal continue to enjoy a successful season with a home win over Reading.
