Amersham CC gear up for community event

AMERSHAM CC are all set for their cricket week bonanza at Shardeloes – when they will stage matches during the day and an evening six-a-side tournament for local teams.

The event, from July 18 to 22, starts with a game on Monday week against Bourne CC from Lincolnshire, the former home club of first team captain Luke Jackson, while on Wednesday 20th, Amersham take on a

Thames Valley League XI, as the league celebrates its 40^th anniversary.

On the evening of Thursday 21, Amersham will play against a Watford FC Legends XI in a 20-over game and on Friday 22, the club will play an England Ladies XI.

Clubs participating in the six-a-side competition are Chesham Bois, Great Kingshill, Little Kingshill, Coleshill, Winchmore Hill, Penn Street, Amersham Hill, The Lee and Ley Hill.
