CHESHAM United have moved swiftly to appoint Paul Burgess as their new reserve team boss.
The former Sarratt FC boss replaced Steve Benitez, who left to take over at Leverstock Green, and will hope to continue the promising work in the Generals' second-string set-up which flourished in their first season in the Spartan South Midlands Division One.
First-team boss Andy Leese said: "I have known Paul for many years and I am delighted he wants to come and strengthen the management team at the club and to continue the work we have started.
"Paul has a good eye for a player and knows what it takes to find and develop players with the qualities requirted to play at the level we are at. We are looking at adding to the resource around Paul and I am hopeful we will have one of the best management teams around for the level to make sure we are the club of choice for aspiring young players."
