Blow for Generals as Effiong recalled

CHESHAM United have been dealt a blow with in-form loan striker Inih Effiong recalled by Boreham Wood.

The Examiner revealed last week that the Hertfordshire club could activate a clause to recall the front-man to help in their Blue Square South campaign.

He had scored five goals in seven appearances for the Generals.

United boss Andy Leese said: "It is disappointing as Inih is a talented lad who has given us a real lift in recent weeks and a great return of goals. We have to use that platform to push on this week."
