A DOUBLE from Matt Newman helped London Colney leave The Meadow with all three points on Saturday.

The Colney striker struck in each half to condemn the Generals' second-string to their first defeat since the opening day of the season.

With the biggest gate in the Spartan South Midlands Division One for the second week running, Steve Benitez's young side were undone by Colney's experience at this level.
