CHESHAM United Reserves and Amersham Town played out an entertaining 2-2 draw on Tuesday night.
The pair met in the Spartan South Mids Division One for the first time this season as the Generals' young-guns came from two goals down to earn their first point in the division.
Amersham took the lead on nine minutes when Aaron Martin headed across goal for Martin Griggs to drill the ball home and doubled their lead on 26 minutes through Ricci Putnam.
But Steve Benitez's Chesham side hit back within three minutes of the restart through Tom Banbury before Ahmed Elkhassasi curled in the equaliser on 52 minutes.
Both sides looked capable of scoring but honours ended even.
