Blues snap up Watford striker

WATFORD striker Matt Whichelow has joined Wycombe Wanderers on loan.

The 20-year-old has come through the youth ranks at Vicarage Road and has scored three goals in 23 games for the Championship side.

He has struggled for games this season and spent a month on-loan at Exeter in September last year making two appearances.

Whichelow was an 80^th minute substitute for the Hornets in their FA Cup defeat to Tottenham on Friday night and scored a hat-trick against Wycombe in a practice game last week.

His one-month deal will see him eligible to play in Wanderers' next six games.
