Blues turn down Beavon bid

WYCOMBE have reportedly turned down a £250,000 offer from League One rivals Bournemouth for top scorer Stuart Beavon.

The 27-year-old is enjoying his best-ever goal return in the Football League with 13 strikes for struggling Wanderers this season.

Beavon has been scouted by a number of clubs but Sky Sports reported today that a £250,000 bid by the Cherries had been rejected by Blues.

The striker signed a two-year contract in the summer and Wycombe are desperate to keep hold of their talisman as they fight to stay up.
