WYCOMBE WANDERERS' derby day preparations have been rocked after assistant boss Martin Kuhl was suspended by the club.
The 46-year-old is a key presence in the Blues dugout and training ground but the club say he has been suspended today pending an 'internal investigation'.
It comes 24 hours before a crunch derby game at Oxford United and as Wycombe face six vital games to secure promotion out of League Two.
Kuhl was brought to Wycombe by boss Gary Waddock after the pair enjoyed success together at Aldershot Town.
A Blues statement said: "The club is not in a position to disclose any further details at this stage and will not comment again until the internal investigation is concluded."
It is not known who will take Kuhl's place on the bench for the game at the Kassam Stadium with youth team coach Richard Dobson a possible option for Wycombe boss Gary Waddock.
