Accrington 1-1 Wycombe

A STOPPAGE-TIME equaliser cost Wycombe Wanderers their first win in three league games.

Rory Boulding was the hero for Accrington by cancelling out Matt Bloomfield's four minutes into stoppage time and eight minutes after coming off the bench.

It was the second week in a row that Blues have conceded late equalisers as they had to settle for their fourth league draw on the spin.

Wycombe boss Gary Waddock named an unchanged side from the one which drew at Northampton last weekend with Ben Strevens and Scott Rendell given another chance to gel up-front.

In a tight first-half, Nikki Bull saved efforts from Stanley's Sean McConville while Lewis Montrose, Rendell and Gareth Ainsworth came close for the visitors.

Wanderers made the breakthrough on 67 minutes when Bloomfield scored his first goal of the season and looked to be coasting towards three vital promotion points.

But deep into injury-time, Boulding tapped in a Chris Turner cross to snatch a point.
