AMERSHAM Town recored their first league win since August 15 in some style thrashing Sport London e Benfica 6-0 away from home on Wednesday night.
The Magpies, with five teenagers in their ranks, dominated the game from the outset when Ross Broadway pounced on some weak goalkeeping to tap home for 1-0 on three minutes
He added his second of the game on 15 minutes when blasted home from 18 yards out after Kyle Anthony beat two players and cut the ball back.
The Magpies punished their slack opponent on 36 minutes when Tobi Akin scored their third and when Anthony fired in off the post to give the visitors a 4-0 half time lead.
Broadway sealed his hat trick on 76 minutes when he lobbed the goalkeeper before Anthony scored his second of the evening in stoppage time.
The win moved Town up to 14th in the Spartan South Mids Division One table. They do not have a league fixture this weekend.
