Heavy loss for depleted Amersham & Chiltern

THREE late tries for the Redingensians saw them beat Amersham & Chiltern by a harsh 56-5 scoreline.

It is now six defeats in seven games, although two sides have a worse record.

Chiltern are still without several regulars in key positions but competed well throughout until that late barrage, when they found themselves with only 13 men on the pitch.

Unfortunately, an untimely piece of retaliation led to a red card for debutant Mike Gallagher, and with all subs used, a dead leg to Dwayne Polataivao, saw Chiltern reduced to 13 players for the last 20 minutes.

Chiltern are improving consistently and look forward to welcoming bottom of the table Bridgwater & Albion to Weedon Lane on Saturday.
