He has been working in both the towns for nearly 30 years, selling household goods and gardenware.

Since the take over last year, both Amersham and Chesham have seen a significant increase in new stalls all selling different products.

The co-operative has over 30 individual traders who regulary trade in both towns.

Mr Wadmore said: "The co-operative are trying to bring back the fun element to shopping. If traders are happy at their place of work, then they will bring that good vibe to the customers.

"Both Amersham and Chesham have a great selection of stalls to choose from fresh fruit, meat, fish, bread, cheese, eggs, olives, sweets, cakes, and plants and flowers to household garden, cards, material, blinds, glasses, jewellery, pet and fashion stalls just to name a few.

"I feel the markets are so important because they are traditional and by enabling all types of people to interact. They bring atmosphere and character to town centres.

"Markets often support local businesses and can also encourage footfall into the town. I personally love working on markets because I love the outdoor life and giving a good service to the public, many of whom I have been serving for many years."

The markets are held in Amersham every Tuesday and Chesham every Wednesday and Saturday.

All new traders are welcome and there are some great incentives for them to start off with. Please call Danny on 07929987664.
