POLICE arrested seven people after a man was assaulted in Chesham in the early hours of April 19.
The men aged, 20, 24, 21, 41, 21, 18 and 27, were arrested in connection with the GBH incident which happened in The Broadway, close to the Misty Moon pub, shortly after midnight.
The victim, a 28-year-old man, suffered a suspected fractured jaw, a broken nose and bruising to his face in the incident. His mobile phone and some cash were also stolen in the incident.
Det Sgt Nick Hind, from Amersham CID, said: "This was a vicious assault which has left the victim with some nasty injuries.
"Although we have made some arrests we still need to speak to any witnesses to this incident.
"I'm keen to hear from anyone who was in this area of Chesham shortly after midnight as they may have information that could help with this investigation."
Six of the seven have been bailed until June 13. A 21-year-old man has been released without charge.
