HUNDREDS of youngsters descended on a village common on Sunday (April 22) to bring colour and life to an annual St George's Day Parade.
Around 500 Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers from Chesham, Prestwood, Great Missenden and the Kingshills donned their uniforms and raised their flags at the parade through Holmer Green.
The event, which takes place in and around Great Missenden and Chesham each year, was organised by chairman of the Chiltern North Scout District Neil Spencer.
He said: "It was a fantastic day, the weather thankfully held off and it went very smoothly.
"Lots of people came out to watch and take pictures and it was wonderful to see so many youngsters and flags from different areas taking part - the Chesham Bois Brigade Band played really well too."
