Here comes Santa again

THE children of Amersham and Little Chalfont can look forward to seeing Father Christmas's float doing the rounds with a host of treats this December.

Invited by Amersham Round Table, Santa traditionally travels around streets throughout the festive season dishing out goodies to schoolchildren and collecting money for the group's various charities.

The charity's chairman, David Burton, said: "Santa's float is eagerly anticipated by the children of Amersham each year and we hope it will be the same this time out."

He will be popping down roads nearly every day from December 1 to December 24 and we will be collecting money for Scannappeal and Heritage House plus other charities - it is our way of ploughing money back into the community."
