ACTOR Geoffrey Palmer opened a charity art exhibition in Amersham to help raise funds for an organisation that provides care for elderly people.
The star from BBC TV programme As Time Goes By and some of the James Bond films launched Abbeyfield Artfest at The Hawker Gallery in The Maltings, in the Old Town on Saturday (10/7).
Money from the sale of art and from a programme of events organised by the gallery will go towards the Abbeyfield Societies nursing home in Halton and sheltered housing in Great Missenden and in Gerrards Cross.
The exhibition, which runs until July 24, is free and open to the public Tuesdays until Saturdays between 10am and 5pm.
