Thanks to Tesco Amersham

Through your letters page I would like to thank the staff and management of Tesco Amersham for allowing Scannappeal to hold a collection at their store on Saturday, December 17.

More than £500 was raised for Scannappeal’s Brain Injury Unit Appeal for Amersham Hospital. The unit treats patients from across Buckinghamshire with brain injuries from stroke, accident or meningitis to ensure they make the best possible recovery.

It is one of only a few such dedicated units in the country so we are very lucky to have it in our community.

Last but not least, I would like to thank all the wonderful Scannappeal volunteers who gave up their time to collect on our behalf and the shoppers at Tesco Amersham who gave so generously.
