Letters: HS2 questionnaire is not objective

AS SOMEONE who has written many drafts for research questionnaires in my time, I find the HS2 consultation questionnaire very biased and deliberately leading. The very last thing you can accuse it of is objectivity.

Given that the business case for HS2 has been completely ridiculed, I hope that common sense will now prevail and this entire misguided project is cancelled, and if that is not possible then a proper public inquiry must be held.

Incidentally, I read that German railways are buying from Bombardier as their product is far more technically advanced than Siemens, but of course the British are buying from Siemens. I shake my head in utter despair at the ineptness of our politicians.
