DOCTOR Challoner's Grammar School is celebrating a triumphant year's GCSE results, with 18 students picking up between 11 and 12 A*s apiece.
One hundred per cent of the 183 boys who sat the exams achieved at least five A*-C grades including English and maths, while the overall pass rate was 99.8 per cent.

Of the eighteen high fliers, six achieved an outstanding 12 A* grades.
David Allan and Jack Lisle (Chalfont St Peter), Conor Bradley (Seer Green), Matthew Haines (Amersham), Cameron Holloway (Chesham) and Andrew Wheeler of Ashley Green will undoubtedly by delighted by their success.
Headmaster Dr Mark Fenton said: “The tremendous hard work put in by our students has yielded excellent results for them this year – the best ever, in fact.
“After all the bad press which Britain's young people have received this summer, it is great to be able to pay tribute to the extremely positive story of the vast majority.”
