Amersham Music Festival programme starts

THE Amersham Music Festival gets its New Year programme underway next Friday with a concert at St Mary's Church in the Old Town at 8pm.

Iain Ledingham will conduct oboeist Christopher Hooker, bassoonist Tamsin Rowlinson and cellist Anne-Isabel Meyer for a festive programme of Italian Baroque Concertos including works by Vivaldi for bassoon and oboe, two concerti grossi by Corelli and one of Besozzi’s oboe concertos along with one of Boccherini’s cello concertos.
