Once you’ve made that all-important decision to hire a personal trainer, choosing one can be a little daunting and there’s very little help or information out there to help you in your selection process.
As in many industries, standards can vary massively from the very, very good to the very, very bad, but all of them call themselves personal trainers and charge roughly the same fee.
Always remember the final decision lies with you and don’t be at all afraid to speak to two or three candidates before making your final decision. Most personal trainers or personal training organisations like health clubs and studios offer a free consultation for you to speak to a trainer. This is your ideal time to interview them and get a feel for how you would work together so go prepared with a list of your own questions which should include:
